Just when you thought it was safe to watch E! tomorrow afternoon!

24-Oct-2008

I know the last thing you expected was another newsletter from me this week BUT I received an email from the producer of "Doomed to Die: 13 Curses" this morning informing me that NBC/E! had decided to move the premiere of the show back to Halloween when the time is more "appropriate." It would have been nice to have known this before giving the times on Coast to Coast last night, but one thing I've discovered is a guest has no input to when a how airs on national TV. I've written Coast to Coast and asked that they post an update, but just to make sure--check your local listings just to be sure. I checked the Comcast guide yesterday evening and "Doomed to Die: 13 Curses" was set to air at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 25th. Check out the following links:

This should give you a little more insight.

Now how about a contest? I have TWO copies of "The Walrus Was Paul" 1st edition with Dowling Press that I would love to sign and give away. The first TWO people to provide me with the correct answers will win the books, so here goes!

1. What was the meaning of Leso?

2. Which Canadian rock star was said to have won the Paul McCartney look-a-like contest? (Hint it is not Billy Shears or William Campbell) (Hint TWO: At the time his temperature was normal).

3. In which song does Ringo sing "You were in a car crash and you lost your hair?"

4. In which song does Paul claim that if its played backwards there is a ripping recipe for lentil soup?

5. Who was Joe Epthgrave?

I'll be giving away more copies monthly next year when the Paul is Dead Clues celebrate its 40th anniversary!

Good Luck and I'll hope to announce the winners SOON!!

Best,

Gary
